Legal information

Terms & Conditions

The legal stuff.

These terms describe the agreement between the service provider and the client, including payment, acceptable use, cancellation, refunds, service levels, and verification requirements.

Definitions and scope

Who the agreement applies to.

The company means ReturnsAddress.co.uk, described on the page as a brand owned and operated by World Interactive LLC.

The client means the individual, company, or organisation receiving the service.

The agreement means the contract and understanding between the company and the client for the duration of the services provided.

The terms apply to all services ordered by the client from the company.

Commercial terms

Key commercial and service rules taken from the published terms.

When does service start?

Service starts only after full payment for the selected package has been received. Until payment is received, the client is not authorised to use the service.

How do renewals work?

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled by either the client or the company.

The client is responsible for ensuring there are sufficient funds available for renewal. If payment fails multiple times and is not resolved within one month, the company states it may return post to sender.

What payment methods are accepted?

The terms mention credit and debit cards, direct debit, and bank transfers. Cheques are not accepted unless specifically agreed in writing.

What if payment is late or missing?

The company reserves the right to suspend services until payment is received in full. While suspended, it may return post to sender and does not accept liability for losses arising from interruption.

Can backdated charges be applied?

Yes. If the service detects use of the address before an active subscription was in place, it says it may apply backdated charges for unpaid periods plus a 25% surcharge.

Service levels and confidentiality

Operational standards and limits of liability.

The company says it aims to provide a high level of service, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service because it relies on third parties such as postal services, couriers, and landlords.

It also says it provides a physical UK mail address that should be widely accepted, but it cannot control whether third parties choose to accept it.

Client information is described as confidential, although the company states it may be required to disclose information if served with an appropriate court order or where legally required.

Acceptable use and cancellation

Important restrictions and account closure rules.

What uses are allowed?

The address may be used to receive product returns for any legal and lawful purpose from any person, business, or organisation anywhere in the world, provided the account is active and up to date.

What uses are not allowed?

The address must not be used as a virtual office, for general correspondence, or with Companies House.

It must also not be used in any way that could cause reputational damage to the address, building, or company.

Can clients visit the service address?

Clients and their visitors are not accepted at the service address unless arranged in writing in advance. Unauthorised visits may lead to a GBP 25 visitor fee per visit.

How do cancellations work?

A written email request must be sent at least 48 hours before the next renewal date. The company then sends a cancellation and offboarding form, and cancellation is not processed until that form is completed in full.

Cancellations are not accepted by phone or by other methods, and no pro-rata refunds are issued.

What is the refund policy?

The page states that for business customers all sales are final once the new mailing address has been confirmed and the service has commenced, except in the event of a material breach by the company.

Verification and other terms

KYC, changes, and governing law.

To comply with KYC regulations, all clients must complete a basic verification. Information and identification documents are used only for identification purposes, and the company says it cannot release any received post until acceptable identification is on file.

If acceptable ID is not provided within one month of service activation, the company states it may return post to sender.

The terms also say the company may amend the service address, charges, or terms of business, usually with notice but in some cases with immediate effect. It may also terminate services immediately where necessary.

The agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
